New ACEOs

Size: 2.5 x 3.5 inches
Medium: Acrylic
Support: Multimedia Artboard

I just had to paint this cute face last night.

Size: 2.5 x 3.5 inches
Medium: Mixed media (colored pencil and acrylic)
Support: Stonehenge paper

Once in a while, I get an urge to use my colored pencil. This white tiger is the result of my recent attempt. As I spend more time with this medium, the image gets blurrier, maybe because I am too lazy about sharpening the pencils frequently enough. As a result, I end up using acrylic for the final touch-up, including whiskers.

Both of these are so well done! I'm always amazed that you can get all that wonderful "big look" on the small ACEO's.

The white tiger is really great! The softness is a good thing sometimes. I like your lazy and your sharp acrylic. Both are excellent.

Both are wonderful Akiko, but I love the sleeping tabby! Is it Hunter?

Thank you, Gwen, Alice, and Gail!

Gail, this is not Hunter, but he sure does look a lot like Hunter. Maybe that's why I had to paint him. :-)

Your ACEO's are the best around Akiko - whoever is lucky enought to purchase yours has made a wonderful investment - both of these are fabulous!!!

I love them both, what talent you have. I use colored pencils a lot and the sharpening all the time wears me out, ha.

Akiko, did you actually paint that "Cute Face" in one night? Both are amazing.

Love that sleepy faced kitty. They are both beautiful. You are a master in any media, Akiko.

Akiko, I drop in from time to time for inspiration. You never fail to provide it.
