I've been wanting to paint something like this for a long time and I finally did it. I used my airbrush for the bubbles. I think they give some surreal atmosphere to the painting and some colors to this very dark subject.

Surreal was the first thing that popped into my head. What a great painting! The bubbles add so much interest to the darkness. Love the sparkle in Blackie's eye's too.
