When I was checking MorgueFile.com the other day, I came across the pictures of this calico cat. She has such intense eyes and beautiful expressions on her face. I just had to paint her.

Stunning pieces Akiko. I keep wanting to click to enlarge on your AC's, and then realize that they are life size.

Oh my gosh, I went to your website and saw the cat with the praying mantis, which is one gorgeous painting.

She's adorable Akiko. I know your favorite is the multimedia artboard, and I even bought some awhile back because of your inspiration. But I just can't achieve the same level of detail with it that I can with the drafting film and bristol vellum...so to me, your work is even MORE amazing! :)
