This is my first painting of the year 2010. My friend Gabe sent me several new pictures of this adorable frog that lives in her pool. He is so cute that I just had to do another frog prince. :) THANKS Gabe!
I've been busy again with my work since December. Sorry if I can't visit your blogs as often as I want.
Wish you all a wonderful year of the tiger!

WOW! So vibrant! Always love your work.
My work has had me captive also, hoping for some more time to paint this year.
Well, this little frog prince is so handsome I think even I could be persuaded to give him a leeetle kiss! Nice and whimsical and so very well done!!
I needed that smile! Thanks for sharing such a wonderfully humorous piece.
I used to own frogs like that, actually called White's Tree Frog from Australia and you've done an outstanding job of capturing the frog. Love the pose, the crown and the title! Too sweet.
I love these frogs - so cute!
Akiko, Happy New Year and what a great start! He is so cute!! I love the contrast of textures of the branch and the frog.
He is just too cute for words, Akiko! And I'm so excited that it's the Year of the Tiger! :-)
I love it, Akiko!
This is truly delightful Akiko - a joy to study!!!

I love your frog princes, they are adorable, Prince the lab thinks so too, but wants to know why he hasn't a crown to wear now!!:)
We are glad you are so busy painting, we know where to find you, and that ultimately means more beautiful art for us to appreciate. Lindax
This work of art has such a wonderful sense of humor, it's fun to look at it. I am certain a big smooch for this frog is just a moment away!
He's adorable, Akiko! I could see a whole storybook surrounding him.
I love this princely guy! Fantastic work as always, Akiko. I thought I'd left a comment days ago, but must not have verified properly. Happy New Year!
Akiko!
Expertly rendered, whimsical, and cute!!
What a smirk on him!

You made us smile.
Akiko, love your new frog prince. I've been offline with computer troubles, but congratulations on having your portrait of Edward Burton featured in the Dec. article about the DSFDF portrait swap on Charley Parker's Lines & Colors! Just saw it today.
