Serval

Size: 6 x 6 inches
Medium: Acrylic
Support: Ampersand Gessobord

I painted this Serval from a reference photo by a wildlife painter David Stribbling. He is an amazing artist. One day, I hope to be able to paint like him.

Akiko, you don't need to paint like anyone else - you are SOOOOO talented! Your work is really amazing - as an animal lover and an art lover, I am very picky about animal art - it has to really capture the spirit of the animal, the expressions, the posture. You really are gifted at what you do!

I'm with Jan, Akiko. Many artists aspire to paint like YOU - you are a master artist in your own right and certainly don't need to compare yourself to anyone else. This painting is fantastic - amazing details!!!

Beautiful work Akiko! You make this serval look like a cuddly domestic cat. I just want to snuggle up and pet him!
