My version of New York Stock Exchange
This is my version of NYSE painting for the weekly challenge "Different Strokes From Different Folks" hosted by Karin Jurick. When I looked at the reference photo , I was totally overwhelmed by the complexity of the project. However, it turned out to be a fun project.

Wow Akiko you've been busy! I'm thrilled... I knew you'd have no trouble painting the NYSE. I like the liberties you took of moving the flag and lit symbol- it not only enhanced the composition but completed the story. I see we both liked the #10, which is what this is... Perfect!
You did a beautiful job on this! I think you cropped it just enough to keep the tension and movement.
Deborah, thank you so much for your compliments!!!
Alice, thanks! Without your encouragement, I would have not even tried with this painting. I wanted to give more tonal values; it's always difficult for me to achieve that in my paintings. Your NYSE has excellent tonal values as well as details and atmosphere!!

This is EXTREMELY good! The colors and composition are excellent!
Excellent Akiko! Cropping was a great key to this busy reference photo. The gestures and color choices added perfect amount of ingredients to this successful rendition congrats!
Carol, thank you so much for your compliments!
Erika, thanks for your compliments! I would love to see your version!!!
Thanks Akiko, I did draw it last Wednesday but right before I began to paint it (watercolor) Karin posted a new photo, so I just drew my best friend on the flip side and painted her lol I'll definitely do the cow though :) You too right?
