Bravo Akiko! Love how you did the building - you always see more than I do in those photos - can we trade glasses? The piece is lovely, but I mentioned the building because it's the focal point and I can't see enough to sink my teeth into it.

Akiko, I just found out what ACEO stands for and I marvel at the skill you have to produce these little gems. Your portrait of Erika is simply amazing, but I am no longer surprised when I see your work. It is so consistently beautiful. Do you use magnification when you paint this small?

Erika, I am nearsighted, so I have to remove my glasses when I'm working on miniatures. lol

Sheila, I'm sure it will go quick once you start it. Looking forward to seeing you version!

Vern thank you so much for your compliments! Because I'm nearsighted my magnification is my naked eye. lol

Irit, thanks for your visit! ACEO stands for Art Cards Editions and Originals. They are small-format art. The only rule is the size: 2.5 x 3.5 inches. It's fun. You should try it. You might get hooked as I was.

Akiko, Great job on the DSFDF challenge! You know, night scenes can be really challenging but they are certainly my favorite to create and to admire. I admire this one.

adebanji, thanks for your visit. Check this short page (http://www.art-cards.org/). It explains what ACEO is. I got hooked in creating and collecting ACEOs for about two years. :) Now I'm trying to go back to the larger sizes.
