Tagged!

I've been tagged by a wonderful artist Melody Lea Lamb. Her animal paintings are the cutest things. If you have not seen them, check out her blog.

The rules of the Blogger's Tag game are:
1. Put a link in your posting about the artist that tagged you.
2. Write 5 to 7 unusual things about yourself.
3. Tag 5 to 7 other bloggers and let them know.

Here are my 7 things:
1. I am my parents' youngest child. When I was born, I was not premature, but weighed only a little over 4 pounds.
2. When I was a kid, I used to take a bath with my pet frog. Needless to say, this practice was not very popular among my family members.
3. I read my favorite books over and over again, probably at least 6 times or until a new book by my favorite authors is published.
4. I go to the bathroom with my cat Hunter. Sometimes he asks me to go with him. :)
5. I lived in Provo, UT, for one year to work for a company to develop a computerized translation system. That was my only 9 to 5 job I have ever had and I hope to keep it that way.
6. I don't like driving, so my husband drives me everywhere, and I go everywhere he goes.
7. I always enjoyed traveling, but about 10 years ago, I developed a fear of flying. This was really bad because I was to visit my family in Japan once a year. I overcame my fear by forcing myself to take flights. So I understand and feel sorry for people who have a fear of flying.

I don't want to break the game rules, but decided to not tag anyone at this time. Instead, I recommend that you visit my blog followers who support me tremendously. Thank you!

I no longer fly either. With both knees replaced and back fused, all the hardware sets off alarms. My last experience flying was not good either, very bad flight from Wisconsin to Louisville in horrible weather.

You rebel! (Takes one to know one - I'm always breaking the rules too!) I don't mind flying, but I hate driving long distances. I wish I could get my hubby to drive me places!

Thanks for sharing some more interesting things about yourself Akiko. It's admirable that you brave flying anyway for the sake of those key visits with your family.

I must admit that I enjoy re-reading favorite books too, and have favorite authors. Isn't it exciting when a new book comes out, and you just know it's going to be wonderful?!

Gail, I'm sorry about your knees and back. I have taken a pretty bad flight once. I tried to fall asleep while hearing screams here and there. :(

Deb, I know you are not good at keeping rules either. Glad that I'm not the only one. :D

Dominique, they are really fun. All they need is a small bucket and cold water. :)

Mona, I'm not brave. I just didn't know how to explain to my family because they don't have any phobia (good for them).
Yes, it's so exciting to get new books from my favorite authors! I also watch my favorite movies over and over again. lol

Not being the world's bravest flier, I just sit by the window and let my sense of awe overtake my sense of apprehension. Here in Costa Rica, if frogs are the only creatures to join me in the shower, I consider myself lucky. And, that is a 5 x 7 of Nancy.

James, it must be a beautiful view in Costa Rica. I would love to visit and see many different species of frogs. There must be many interesting creatures out there that would love to take shower with you! lol

Those frogs must be in heaven by now. However, about four years ago, I rescued several tadpoles from an isolated pool of water that was about to be dried up in a few days. They did grow up to be tiny tree frogs and I cared for them until they passed one by one. The last one went just a few months ago.
